Oakham Country Day School has been consistently providing care to children aged 2 yrs. 9 mos. to 12 in Oakham, Massachusetts, and the surrounding towns since 1982.

We believe that each child is an individual.

We strive to meet all the motional, social, cognitive, and physical needs of each individual.

Our programs are designed to engage children in learning through play, encourage curiosity, facilitate the child’s development at their own pace, and provide a safe and nurturing environment that meets the needs of working parents with regard to childcare.

The school is open to all children of appropriate age regardless of sex, race, color, creed, country of natural origin, personal disability, political belief, or parent/guardian marital status.

Our Staff

The staff of Oakham Country Day School consists of dedicated and talented educators with vast experience working with children in both private and public school settings.

We have very little staff "turnover"and foster healthy relationships and mutual respect with all children and families.

Our staff prioritizes creating a nurturing and caring environment that supports the unique needs of each and every child.

All of our staff members are licensed by the MA Department of Early Education and Care at the appropriate levels.

Our Philosophy

It is the philosophy of Oakham Country Day School to treat each child as a unique individual.  The school believes that quality preschool and daycare offered in an environment of stimulation is the key to ensuring the future success of children. 

Our Primary Goal: The provision of quality preschool and daycare in an educationally stimulating environment, designed to meet the individual needs of each child and his/her parent(s).
